Charm Attack

A fool I am this is true For being the one who fell for you Falling so hard without a safety net Hitting rock bottom, still waging this bet Charming and dashing; charismatic too Not seeing the person who was really you Masked behind a smile and those pretty eyes A perfect display of horrors able to disguise Proclaiming to be a man who never did exist Plotting your scheme; you’re unable to resist Bad boy persona women are immediately drawn to I was the chosen one out of the many surrounding you But now I know the truth and honor I do not feel I’m returning this gift immediately so I can start to heal I do not wish to exchange it or get my “money” back Keep it for the next prey who’ll welcome this charm attack © Stacy Lynn Stiles
