CHARLES MESSINA Charles Messina; really started something, with his farting in a lift As near all poets got to writing about their so embarrassing wiffs It brought the best out of a poet, or should I say their dire worst Then to how letting rip in a lift, had everyone wanting to disperse Although it's not my usual topic of conversation it made me laugh As there is nowt as funny being in a lift and, letting out some gas Indiana Shaw . . . : ) "Not quite the tribute I had in mind for Charles, but; hey, there you go" ; )

No lie, Lindsay, I have never laughed so much at a contest, I really got to see the funny side of folk on here, who other wise I thought would give it a miss, but, No, everyone just got stuck in and gave it their best, all hail to charles, who brightened our day . . . ; )

Well, Jan, everytime I write one, in my head I go, there's another poem for Jan, and I think Charles dropped a right corker with his fart in a lift contest here, ha, ha, ha . . . ; )
