Chapter 15 -- Damian and Polly: 2025 Another Year With Polly

A cool February evening Damian was
Asleep. He felt somebody rubbing 
His chest. "Leave me girl." Polly
Rolled out of bed and announced 
"Damian, you should move in with me!
I want you to move in! Wake up Damian!"
"I know You hear me." He had his
Eyes closed, "What's the time?" 
"8 o'clock, why is there  somewhere 
You wanna be?" She walked around 
The bed and sat down with her hand 
On his chest. "So what do...before 
She finished the question, he murmured 
"No."  Her response  "oh you don't...
Again he flamed up on
Her. "What?!" Exactly do you expect 
From this relationship Polly!?" She
Was trying for a sensible answer.
He would not consider her response.
He roguishly explained, "You see
Sweetheart. I am a bachelor Polina.
I hope... I know you understand that."
She started crying. "You hurt my
Feelings Damian." He wiped her
Tears, "I don't mean to hurt you Polly
Those are just the facts."  Then he
Mercilessly stated, "Don't push this
Any more Polly." He stroked her cheek.
Then strolled to the door and said,
"I'll be back later."  The next day
Polly left for work 7 o'clock morning 
Time. She had started teaching at P.S 91
last year. She was grateful for the
 work with kids. It 
Wasn't her dream job yet. She wanted 
A bachelors degree in education.
Damian encouraged her. "You have
Big dreams Polly." She remembered 
Him saying that over the phone.
It was an average day until, Havus
John got sick.  Polly escorted 
him to the nurses office.
. They waited a few minutes 
 He became restless.
Then vomited in front of the door.
The nurse opened the exam room door 
Making sure there wasn't any problems
She saw the vomit on the floor which
 was spotless minutes ago.
She said, "I'll be with you soon.
 Somebody will clean that."
Polly's day was over. little Havus's
Mother will be along to collect him
In about 30 minutes. Finally the nurse
Appeared at the exam room doorway
Again and allowed a young female 
To leave the area. 
"Oh, you're a new nurse."
Polly thought then said, "I'm Polly
Harvey." She extended her hand.
The nurse replied, "nice to meet you
Ms Harvey, I'm Molly Daughtry."
Polly continued, "When did you start
Here?" The nurse placed her long
Braids up in a bun and said,
"3 weeks ago." Polly volunteered
"Uh I've been teaching here for
Almost a year."  "That's...nice." 
Molly was amused and didn't know 
Why? As time whizzed by the two
Woman became  friends. Polly
Invited Molly to see a movie 
So, Molly asked "is it a problem if
I invite my sister we're twins we
Usually hang together." Polly said.
"No, no that's not a problem, not at
All bring her! I'd like to meet her."
One week passed now its February 2025
Movie night the women agreed to
Meet at the movie location. Molly
Showed up with Dolly just as she
Said she would. They sat in  Molly's 
Car waiting for Polly and chatted.
 Polly was already Inside the theater. 
 minutes passed. Dolly and Molly 
Decided to leave the car and search
For Polly inside the theater.
 Dolly stepped away for
A bathroom break, Molly went with 
Her. Now Polly searched outside.
 Then came back Inside and they bumped into
Each other after the sisters emerged 
From the bathroom. Molly exclaimed 
"Polly we were looking all over for
You girl! Uh never mind, this is my
Twin sister Dolly." Polly said "oh fraternal."
Dolly quipped "so what's the movie 
 people? Oh hi Polly".
I'm glad to meet you." They agreed on
A movie, a romantic comedy. They
Didn't enjoy it much. After the
Movie they returned to Polly's. 
A couple of days zoomed on
 and Dolly and Molly revisited 
Polly. They watched cable movies had fun.
The clock was in steady motion now. When Polly
Exclaimed "oh wow! You know I have a cousin 
She's like my sister since I'm an only child her 
Name's Holly. Ha ha! So there's 4 of us.  Me and 
Holly and Dolly and Molly. They watched 
her and couldn't find their words.
For a few seconds. Then Dolly broke the silence 
"Seriously Polly Holly Dolly and Molly?"
 Polly answered, "Yess Dolly girl
You should meet her. She looks kinda like you."
Then she left the room 
Returning with a photo album. They talked about 
The Copy Cat Club. Dolly said, "Molly I've been 
Thinking we should plant a tree a fig tree or some
Kind of fruit tree tree in our backyard. I think that
Would be so...outstanding.  kind of outlandish 
A little bit of break from the norm."  
Molly Raised her eye brows, "Okay
Sis, okay!" Polly and Molly laughed.
 a knock on the door. Polly looked 
At the video cam. She Squealed 
"Oh its Damian!" She turned to Molly
And said, "Y'all  leaving
Right?" They turned to each other
Secretly Repeating, "Damian?" Polly 
  let the door open.
They couldn't see Damian until 
he passed the doorway. He kissed 
Polly then noticed Molly and Dolly as
He entered. Polly said "oh" as she touched 
His arm. "Baby, these are my friends 
Molly and her sister Dolly." Dolly and
Molly came face to face gave 
Each other the serious look. Molly
Spoke first echoing Dolly's thoughts.
"Polly? Baby!? Ascending from her
Shock Dolly uttered "Whaaat seriously."
 Polly responded, "What?" Oh Y'all leaving 
we want to be alone!" Damian said, "Noo, 
I'm involved! High up on this, we don't need 
to be alone, we're all
Friends here!" Polly said, "Damian no."
The sisters said, "DAMIAN!?" 
Polly looked sick. they were
Bound to Meet. But this was
Not the response Polly expected.
Molly said, "okay, Polly we'll leave."
Damian watched Dolly the whole time.
Dolly blurted, "See you at The Copy Cat Club!
Polly!" Damian cleared his throat and
Looked at Dolly, "We will make arrangements 
ASAP. Dolly, right?" She said, 
"Yes Dolly, right." His nostrils flared. 
Polly tried not to notice while trying 
to close the door before Damian had a
Complete photographic image in his mind.
"Later Dolly, Molly." Damian muttered 
Then Molly said, "Come on sis his testosterone
 is poisoning the air." Dolly dreamly
 replied, "Yesss." Then Damian left
Polly's place and ran to catch the sisters 
Following them home.
