CHAPPELL'S MILL
The old mill is still standing
A product of bygone days
It's a place where people visit
And reminisce of primitive ways
As a child, I used to go there
Fascinated by what I saw
Mr. Chappell took time explaining
And never made a flaw
His ground meal was an icon
And his old mill an icon too
Though he's gone on to glory
His legacy is not yet through
It lives on in the old grist mill
That is part of our town's history
If you are ever in Dublin, Georgia
It's a place you'll want to see
