Chantilly Lingering long after your death The fragrance forever yours Chantilly, lace, and Grandma’s face Together in thoughts endure. A subtle scent as you passed by Showing kindness, endearing love. Perfume my memories of you Even though you abide above. I never dreamed that fragranced whiff Barely noticed as you rushed by, Would engrave itself upon my mind. And bring my heart to you on high. It has comforted through a lifetime. I used Chantilly many years ago..it was one of the first fragrances of mine.. a wonderful poem and lasting memory.. enjoyed.. with luv from the "Sweetheart" in Hawaii... I posted some photos from vacation if u want to see some island magic.. AlohA..

Another wonderful piece from your pen Dane Ann - such a lovely tribute which I can relate too as I'm sure I can still smell my late husbands aftershave whom I lost four months ago - and I keep a bottle of it by my bed. Rgds Janette
