Changes

Changes come, and stay awhile Bringing winds, that scroll the pages Of the diary you compile Changes take away your ages Changing times, they frown and sit Just like pigeons on the wires While you walking on the grit Sniffing autumnal bonfires Changes can’t increase your wages So you have to reconcile Changes for the sake of changes Give you reason for a smile.
