Celebration of Spring
In jubilant celebration I shout
Spring is here spring is here
Day by day I watch the trees
Awake from their winter slumber
Eventually parading their new
Spring wardrobe for all to see
Oh what a beauty New green everywhere
No more cabin fever, time to go play
I dance in the warm rain
Tilt my head back, open my mouth
Catch a few drops
I taste the sweetness of the rain
As it touches my tongue
Looking around
I see flowers blooming everywhere
The same sweet rain quenching their thirst
Mother nature has put her white blanket away
And in jubilant Celebration I shout
Spring is here spring is here
