Celebrating the continuum
Here, for an earth life sojourn,
dwelling in mind-body urn,
the real is known by touch,
on relinquishing thought crutch.
Which breath should we hold more dear,
as waves rise and disappear,
for is not life but a flow,
savoured in staid stillness slow?
In the rainbow’s light we bask
but why not first pause to ask,
who we are, what’s life’s purpose;
as a clown, in this circus?
To this end, if we but bend
and an ear to conscience lend,
doing nothing, truth is known,
of love and light, we all own.
