Carolyn Devonshire - a Tribute

A rare priceless pearl emerged, from an exotic shell of the deep blue sea; Her unique sparkle did brighten and illuminate every soul that held her with love. Her dauntless spirit knew the warmth of feeling the soul of the ocean, so close, and listening to its soft rumble - a lull. Of rare breed, this precious pearl yearned to go back to where she came from: and she left, leaving behind the radiance of her grace. Though I am sad I didn't get to know her much, am happy I was able to write this simple humble tribute from the information I got from friends close to her and by reading some of her poems.
