Career Move

No wonder I'm snaggin'
Jumping your bar
I've hitched my broke waggin'
To the wrong star...

***In 2008, I decided to look for a place on the internet to share my poetry and PS was the first site I came across. I had just written this and had no IDEA I had just joined! It is about an experience I had that same day at work after a 'misunderstanding' with my boss. Karen O'Leary was the first to comment and welcome me and for that I will always be grateful...

Nice work Tim, I see the Iambic Pentameter meter in the lines...it's hard to see 'cause the lines are broken in half. Overall it's a great poem...Raul

you know half the time I can't "hear" the stressed syllable & the other half I can make any slyable stressed...and the 3rd half LOL I can't seem to count feet????? No wonder I'm snaggin...if ' is a stress...-(no) '(won) -(der) ' (I'm) - (snag) '(in)...I think that's 3 feet???? not 5 and I'm not sure if it's stressed as above? or 'no,'won,-der??? H E L P LOL Liked the verse anyway!
