Cardinal Sins

How long can you ignore my unrelenting love How long will the door to my heart stay open If you unequivocally deny all I try Can my prayers I pray be received by angels above When you reject my love before it is even spoken My pride won't let me let you go My anger boils when you think of him Cursed by lust, in envy my soul rust With a gluttonous heart, I covet and it shows I am too lazy to try to fight my cardinal sins Condemned to want what I cannot have To know you love him from afar I know it's wrong but I will keep going on You vanquishing my love makes me eternally sad I swallow within my cardinal sins bitterly hard
