Captured by the eventual, I waited Hoping like I’d never hoped, praying Never letting go of the possibility, waiting Silent light, solitude in graceful rays Praying, waiting, sensing the promises Woven through the beautiful, the amazing With threads of peace and joy, love Like colorful strings, strong as summer’s Sun and wise like the flow of a moment When life reveals its sincerity, its serenity The feeling that relieves darkness of its fear, Comforts the faith and attempts to see Past the yearning into the seeds of grace Captured by the eventual, I smile Wistful and warm, healing from the hurts Who came to me on beating rhythms, Peeling away the layers of feelings, the Miracles like wisdom, erasing the former Reflecting the heartfelt embrace of a vibrant Tenderness, affectionate and comforting, Embracing the music that flows, echoing In remembrance of yesterday, before the music Tempted me to breathe laughter, trembling With beauty – soaking up the memories, Inspiring and inviting kindness, illuminating All the murmuring signs of a light, a memory Blowing in the night, through the winds – Rustling in the leaves, reassuring life’s dreams Captured by the eventual, simmering on low Heat like a burning heart, passions glowing, Erasing the turning of a thought with the song, Faded into the heart – burning out a thought, Inscribing hope, faith and love…. Captured by the eventual
