Captivated

as deep as the ocean my thoughts dare to dive as strong as devotion my will has designed as long as i breathe or could there be an end of time as in all love stories everything will be fine as distant as the farthest star i would follow you there as words they make vivid pictures they're there to prove i care as the sun goes down another day look up to God and then i pray and as the stars slowly appear each wish i make to bring you nearer

I'm feeling that this has to do with a memory John. Sounds like it sustains you in the most amazing way. Hugs, Lizzie :)

No. It is a generalization of the power of love. Yes it comes from memory but they are maternal and have graduated sence then. I'm sorry for what I did to make you block me for these few days. And even sorrier that you had to come back because you know I have the fire. At least for now .

Nice poem John. In your fifth line, all you have to do is put an "e" on the end of "breath". What you have there now is the noun, but you need the verb. Adding the "e" to the end of that noun will make it a verb. Everything else looks fine.

I truly am captivated by this marvelous piece! What I think is so brilliant is the fact that you chose to write in lower-cased letters and capitalize the "G" in God. I appreciate a writer (poet) who's not afraid to "shake" things up a bit! Well done!...Milt
