Candy
take me back
into the sixties
not eighteen but
nineteen
sixties where
you weren't just
dulce you
we're toffee
needing chew
sucking
smothering by
tongue together
and then
the taking
and the tasting
of your
carmilized
tree sap are you
sure
you aren't
a maple tree
