Candid Girl Hannah Marie
The comment of a girl younger than four
is truer than a Delphic
oracle.
To try to change it in your own favor
needs no less than a medieval
miracle.
For hers is the most honest opinion
of a trustworthy mirror
on the wall.
Although you befriend her with choco bars,
barbi dolls and a pink
marshmallow ball,
she gives her verdict with finality
as she points at your wrinkles,
warts and all!
