Cancer A sickness no one wants No age can prepare The news brings dreaded fear So many which one did I get Questions are a thousand and one You are the one we talk about Family, friends and doctors prepare Your determination over rides fear I do hope I can make it my cancer my fear

My dad died of throat cancer & one of my brothers died of liver cancer. I wrote a poem called My Brother Bill...... I'm not sure I told you my poem To Be Like You is made up. Everybody thinks it real about my mom. I tell you this because you were talking off being an empath. I posted one for her called Lillian :)

A poem I can relate to on a personal level. There are few people whose lives haven't been touched either directly or indirectly from this awful disease. it was when my hubby underwent cancer surgery when i picked up my pen for the first time since my school days and now it is my lifesaver helping me through the worst 3 1/2 years of my life:-) hugs Jan xx

Hi Jan , I am truly sorry for you and hubby I could never imagine the pain and suffering brought to you all , I have like most had family go through cancer some made it and some not :(( I do feel it is important to talk about cancer so many call it the C word I like to call it for what it is cancer cells :((
