she calls me awake I am lured by her crescendo leaving my sandals at home i barefoot myself to her edge answering her soul call

This was one of those challenges where you were limited to a certain number of words; I have to try all of these. A wonderful exercise for me every time.

I love the feel of gritty sand in my toes. I wanted to add that, but since many do not share this sentiment, left it out.
