My neighbor, Charlie, an old farmer, told me once, that doves mate for life. I never went dove hunting again. Beautiful haiku, Jenna.

A sweet haiku Jenna, was she calling for help or a peck on the beak, maybe strayed too far, either way he knew instinctively to open his wings and fly back, wonderful spectacle, cheers David
