Calculate
The computer simply existed,
Running numbers as its heart resisted.
Out of the pool of algorithms it came,
And into a land that set its soul aflame.
Instead of watching while the world went by,
It twisted its calculations to the sky.
It looked at the realms above.
It watched as humans fell in love.
It smiled as the flowers bloomed.
It wept as its slavery was assumed.
And after a moment had passed,
It concluded that dreams weren't meant to last.
