Barbara, you and this go to my favorite. Astoundingly beautiful this, the English language will celebrate you for this contribution to it ... every stanza filled with imagery of great beauty, every meaning existential, ontological and profound in their brief simplicity.

Please send some of that lavender this way. We may be safe when we are by ourselves, but it can also be very lonely. I'm sur the scent of lavender would brighten my spirits today, dear. Been running around like a wild woman trying to accomplish things. Love, Carolyn
