By Myself

the whole world is gray clouds march with a dark intent tides fall into the sky perhaps morning will be blue ...and smell of lavender

I hope they do Barbara. For here in Scotland we appear to get more dull than light weather. But I enjoy it all to be honest >> James

Barbara, you and this go to my favorite. Astoundingly beautiful this, the English language will celebrate you for this contribution to it ... every stanza filled with imagery of great beauty, every meaning existential, ontological and profound in their brief simplicity.

No, lavender, but honeysuckle has been rampant around my place this year. You made it sound as if even the clouds are mad at you. Good write. Charles

Please send some of that lavender this way. We may be safe when we are by ourselves, but it can also be very lonely. I'm sur the scent of lavender would brighten my spirits today, dear. Been running around like a wild woman trying to accomplish things. Love, Carolyn
