Buzzards and Flamingos
Restless buzzards on branches high
spy flamingos with an envious eye
frightfully aware of their ugly selves
bemoaning their state they know so well.
Fancy flamingos preen and sigh
raising their stately heads to the sky
watching the great, black buzzards above
wishing to soar so freely, thereof.
As buzzards clear the littered ground
of rotting death and debris all around
flamingos flock in serenity that portrays
a unique synergy unveiled by light of day.
Tis the grace and harmony of life to observe
the yin and yang of opposite birds.
