Butterflies dont stay

If you want to name me, call me butterfly.
I need to be free as the birds flying by.
Its not that my ego surged.
Its just that I have emerged.
I am unchained,
and look what I've gained.
A paradox of wandering dreams.
Free to take life to extremes.
No strings to hold me can be weaved.
Insurmountable summits achieved.
I adore to be bathed in glorious life,
where nothing can cause me any strife.
I intend to be free to indulge.
I feel so securely alive, my heart can’t divulge.
To hold me so tightly will only cause deceit.
I'll not remain, I wont accept hideous conceit.
I wont be mundane or true to convention.
That will never be my intention.
Just tell em I live over the rainbow,
where the wild flowers grow.
A refusal of all detention, I've reached.
I wont listen to what they preached.
If your love starts to bind me.
No longer will you find me.
I'll be moving on.
Your butterfly will be gone.
I'll be over the rainbow.
Cause I simply had to go.
