Butter Cup Row
I remember a good day not so long ago
When I had in fact escaped the show
Adrift with magical mushrooms in tow
I set out for the woods where life is slow
A two hour hike four miles as fly the crow
Sat down where tall grass and daises grow
Trees spoke in a language few will ever know
A mosquito landed and asked me friend or foe
The joke was on him; he’ll peek in a minute or so
I looked where the tall grass and the daises grow
And saw a curious looking bird who said to go
“Your kinds not welcome here on Butter Cup Row”
I'm not like all the other humans anymore you know
“You’ll need to prove it and don’t try bribing me with doe”
So atop the daisy next to him my inner-child began to show
