Burns and Allen

Mr. George Burns
In a movie played 'God'
  Hilarious, comedic head
  On such a laughable bod...

His wife Gracie
Acted totally spacy
  Her humor dazzling
  Via daffiness frazzling

Now, there was a real team! I saw him interviewed once and he said Gracie was the genius behind the humor; after watching reruns of the show; I realized how...one has to be brilliant to pull off the daffiness that she had. Great clerihew.

I agree with you. They were great comedians, as were Jack Benny and others of their generation. :) gw

Ho, ho! I think you'll get a kick out of it. I believe the name of the movie is simply 'God.' Season's best, Line! ~ Gershon

"Goodnight, Wolfie!" ---There I've done my (admittedly weak) imitation of Gracie. Thank you for commenting, Chris. Always a treat to hear from you! Best of the season, Gershon
