Bubble of Joy

When it was no longer dark I went in the morning to the park From liquid soap container in hand I blew in glee large bubbles grand. Morning sun glistened on my hair Glinted the bubbles flying in the air I saw them like soaring pearls glow But inside they were all hollow. They wafted up toward the blue sky Until they couldn’t float much high Meandering slowly they came down To touch the blooming flower crown. There they silently burst one by one Sprinkling my joy I sensed with fun. September 29, 2021 Photo : # 2 Rhyme checked on rhymezone.com Contest : Rhyme Me Rhyme Me A Poem Sponsor : Eve Roper

Congratulations on your win, Subimal. This poem reminded me of my 3 year-old grandson. He always wants to play with his bubble and I too mix it with dish soup. He yells out, Bubbles, up in sky. It just makes his face glow. Hugs Eve
