Bubble of Illusion

When my eyes shall close for the final time And all I have thought is no longer visceral The me you thought you knew is no more What I believed, however, will never be null The poems I composed, the songs I sang Sustain me in an ethereal, spiritual alter-ego I shall continue to influence the world I knew Perhaps from a bubble of illusion, now so real More real than the world from which I flew Do not think because they say I have gone That I’m no longer an influence from beyond For I shall continue to motivate for morality When I am beyond this veil of temporality. Referring to the last couplet: Perhaps the best way to 'motivate for morality' is 'beyond the veil of temporality.' Permanence adds weight. ~ Gershon
