Broken Heart
When you’ve got a broken heart,
There’s no time to fall apart.
To repair it, phone a friend.
Meet for dinner – eat and spend.
Get a haircut, take a stroll.
Listen to some rock and roll.
Plan a trip or hit the city.
Don’t indulge in selfish pity.
Splurge on ice cream – sip some vino
Or a foamy cappuccino.
Soak some sunshine – take a drive.
Just remember – you’re alive!
Broken hearts are meant to heal,
But you’ve gotta grab the wheel.
Give yourself another chance.
Get out on the floor and dance!
