Notes About The Poem

Broken Butterfly

Life from a cocoon
This butterfly emerges
A fragile beauty
With a pair of graceful wings
Yet her flight conceals a bruise

Hi Ed, another beautiful piece of poetry from your pen. How strange so many of us fly through life broken but there is still beauty within us. The broken butterfly still does fly with beautiful wings, a poem that gives hope....Vladislav. A seven rating

Ed, I came back to this lovely poem because I see myself as a broken butterfly, yet even broken I can fly, although you words are few the beauty is great and thanks for visiting my poem, home of my childhood, you know I went back to the neighbourhood as an adult and it was a slum, but the memory of the beauty lingers
