Bright and Sunny

Bright and sunny, brisk and still – Just a jacket fits the bill – Is the weather I adore And that which lures me out the door. You can keep your summer damp Or swimming days for beach or camp; Lay temps on me just north of cold And skies of azure to behold. Staying in on days like these, Unless you’re riddled with disease, Is close to what I’d call a crime And not deserving of this rhyme!

Hahaha! Enjoyed that last stanza immensely, Ilene. Nothing like a fresh, sunny February day! Cheers, Gershon

My late wife and daughter would go with you, but I much prefer a sunny day in the Sonoran Desert, or Makaha, for a dip in cool water! Just don't watch the news before you leave home! Aloha! Rico

My kind of weather, too, Ilene. Not too hot, not too cold. A "bright and sunny" poem indeed!
