People running in fear From the fiery breath that kills Fiery monsters dwell there In the land called Dragonsville Who could still the dragon's wrath And the fire of its breath Who could stop the carnage From the dreaded flames of death Then a fairy princess came From the mountains far away She did still the dragon's flame Enchanting the beast in her magical way When the dragon held her in his mighty paws And into her eyes did stare It seemed so very mesmerized By the way she hovered there And soon the dragons went away To dwell on a distant hill People no longer ran in fear In the land called Dragonsville 11-12-2021 Rhyming Me A Poem 2 Poetry Contest Sponsor: Eve Roper Photo 1

She tamed the wild beast as many a woman has been able to do over many millennia by mesmerizing the beast. Beautiful Joseph! Blessings xxoo
