The surgeon cut into my breast (I’d removed my white thermal vest!) Now who would have thought An internal wart Had meant I’d been feeling so stressed! The result of my biopsy Was clear for the surgeon to see Not seen on the skin This wart was ‘within’ No cancer - I feel so happy! My breast lump was analysed and it was discovered to be a papilloma which is basically a wart in the breast tissue - I'd never heard of it ... trust me to be different! 01/19/18

Thanks Curtis I am only 1/2 way through the congrats list and am delighted Viv liked my poem. I saw the surgeon yesterday as I have a haematoma - it can't be aspirated so i am back there again next week but from what i have read it can take years for it to be absorbed or can stay forever - am writing a poem about it lol. if i have to live with the lump so be it i- the main thing is i don't have cancer and can get on with life:-) hugs jan xx

I'm still uncomfy with the blood clot but that is getting better the important thing is my mind is at peace and I can move on. i slept so so so much after the surgery i didn't realise how the general anaesthetic would knock me for six I wish they'd warned me in advance. The last time I had one I was 5 and i was in hospital a couple of days so i wouldn't have realised about the tiredness and kids do bounce back so quickly from these things:-) hugs jan xx

It's been a difficult time Jack when my hubby was undergoing tests we KNEW he had cancer but they just couldn't find it and it took two years! I was worried when I had a lump and was realistic it could be malignant - who would have thought it would be a wart!:-) hugs Jan xx

I don't know who is more relieved, you or me. You are the only one I can selfishly lean on when I'm feeling down, and you always seem to successfully lift my spirits. This is great news Jan. Stay healthy, please.

I'm glad to hear it's all ok! I've never heard of a wart inside your skin anywhere really. It might have been nice to know that was a possibility! Oh well, as they say all's well that ends well. Hmmmm...kind of overused the word well there. Oh well.......80(...........80)

Thanks Anna - when I went for the original biopsy results I'd already written a poem called 'I've got cancer' as that is what was suspected by me at any rate - I am so so glad I didn't have to post it and hope I never will, but i am realistic after my hubby had cancer and that is what started me writing in the first place:-) hugs jan xx

Jan I am glad it wasn't what you thought...Just a silly old watt...... snuggled deep within your tissue.... Thinking why is that an issue.... breast is best so I've been taught. Glad you are up and running again...Seren .

It's SO great for you that it was only a wart!! You got a cute limerick set out of it too. Jan, did I tell you I got a big purple wart or mole on my leg last year? he pulled out this smooth big dot and underneath it was a ball like a small white pearl. SO WEIRD!!! I am kind of glad I got hardly any comments today. I think I will just relax with tv and then start dinner.

It's been a real nightmare Rick it was mid November the lump was found and as the first biopsy was indecisive I still had to have surgery to remove it - thankfully I am fine!:-) hugs jan xx

I am absolutely stunned that it could be a wart I'd never heard of a papilloma ... I wasn't expecting anything like that!!!! the main thing is its gone and it was not cancer so i can now finally begin to move on and get on with life as I've been in limbo waiting waiting:-) hugs jan xx

Thanks Alexis I can finally put it behind me and I only have to go back so they can keep an eye on the blood clot - I hope in 2 weeks time it will have reduced in size and they can sign me off completely:-) hugs Jan xx

Any lump found is a great cause of worry and stress and should be investigated without delay. Thankfully Jan, it wasn't what you feared. Regards Tom.

I've had lumps in the past Tom but this one they couldn't dismiss immediately so I had the biopsy which was 'indeterminable' and then surgery to remove it - and then had to wait wait wait but the result in the end was i don't have cancer. If I have a lump in the future I will opt straight for surgery if i can!:-) hugs jan xx
