"People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
No one dare
Disturb the sound of silence."
 - from 'The Sound of Silence' - song by Paul Simon
“The sound of silence lies in the voice that follows it.” - Author
“It’s only when silent, that you can hear the sound of everything else.” - Author

Listen to poem:
Who knows the sound that silence makes, for its the absence of noise that we perceive. For silence cannot be heard. It's lost in the listening up for. It's felt as the break between, what we're waiting for, what we are expecting to happen, and what we are listening out for. Wait for it! Hang on, Hang on! It's coming! Just wait! Listen Up! The quieter you become, and the more expectant, the louder you will hear, the sound of silence.
