Breadth of My Soul

i see you
curiously
watching me
as i walk
towards you
your mind
adrift
like leaves
of november

aglow
a flicker
of moonbeams
dance
in the pools
of your eyes
as they gaze
hopelessly
into the depths
of mine

endless shivers
run down
my spine
beneath
the stroke
of your fingers
as they brush
against me
gently sweeping
my hair from my face
before a kiss

a language
unspoken
through
hushed words
as your lips
tenderly nestle
against mine
lingering
in the breadth
of my soul

your whispers
consume
my once
vacant thoughts
with the echoes
of giggles
as you chase
after me
playfully
until i fall
into the depths
of your love
all over
again

Sigh, romance flows from your pen softly and warmly, touching those fortunate enough to come across it while wandering these pages of soup. Breath taking my friend, leaving my mind and heart clinging to every word. Another first place finish I am sure for this deeply affectionate and desire filled poem.

Thank you so much my friend... been working on this a couple days... not sure if it's fitting to the theme, doubtful of first place...i don't do romance often so wasn't sure about it, posted it yesterday, took it down and reworked it...actually had two versions saved and tried to take from each... hugs :)
