~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
John 6:51 (KJV) I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
He feeds the hungry – manna from paradise
He is the bread, the gift – our forever,
Withstanding all doubt, every fear, He paid the price
Assuring the spirit – with Him, there is gentle
That frees, reassures – He is the sacrifice
Thanks to the Son, there is joy for every soul
He feeds the hungry – eases every affliction,
He is the light of the world, the bread of life
The One who makes a way beyond addiction
Easing the heaviest load with the promise
Wherever the Son shines His light is conviction
There is peace that soothes away every fear
He feeds the hunger – manna from above
He is the answer to every prayer, the reason
That I know, deep down in my soul, there is love
Love so alive that it stirs hearts and lives –
Reminds the spirit why it will never grow tired of
This wonderful, this beautiful that can’t be described
He feeds the hungry – declaring life to every soul
Who believes in Him, abides in Him, delights in Him,
The Savior of the world, this Jesus who makes us whole,
The wonder that defeats every burden, each tear
With the kindness, the grace that will forever console –
Saving hearts from darkness, defeat, death - hell
He feeds the hungry, those who know He is bread
For the heart and the soul, bread of life – bread so alive
It feels like His love inspires souls to remember He bled …
So our souls could know the meaning of redemption,
The only way to find satisfaction, to grow, to live without dread
This is the bread that withstands every fire – lasts forever!
My heart’s burning desire!
