Bread Lines

There is nothing now that could be worse,

Than taking money out of the old folks' purse.

So our elected officials need to remember,

      It will soon come November,

And to the bread lines...they may be FIRST!

Dear Dan, our Government is for nothing good!!! The EURO is instable and everything is getting more expensive. Politicians here won't have to pay taxes and no social security and they will receive a pension after only three years in parliament when a worker would have to work 500 years to receive the same amount and medi´cal care is also free for them!!! It is simply a shame. Danke für Dein Kommentar! Schlimm ist, dass man daran nichts ändern kann!!! Ein schönes Wochenende...Gert

Wonderful poem, but you will never see the elected officials helping anyone in the bread line, they are too busy "lining" their pockets.. love constance

Great reminder that we get a chance to vote and state how we feel about the decisions that they make up there in the capitol..Keep the creative pen flowing..Sara

Good call , Daniel and best of luck in the contest . Sometimes , it helps to laugh at our problems and woes . I know of a guy who was asked at a quizz ; " what is the opposite to woe ?? . He replied : " giddy-up " !!! ...
