Bread

freshly  plowed field
rows stretch to the horizon
birds feeding

earth nurtures seed 
sun filters through broken clouds
rich black gold

golden blanket 
waves in the hot summer breeze
harvest home

silos tower
year's bounty gathered again
bread baking
