Brave New World

"Brave New World"

In a Clear Blue World
spirits strike matches
inner flames capture
dancing magnetised
towards intimate
Shining Light
melting like
liquid diamonds
Ultra Muses
fusing bright
magic lyrics
healed compositions
mirrors merge tight
no division
hearts forever blooming
unfurling like sweet
Anais Nin’s Roses
they’re salty divination kiss
sheer delight, rapture union
hear their kindest war cry
Revelation's arriving -
LOVE REVOLUTION,
it’s a
Brave New World.

Thanks Jannie. I've got to admit, sometimes, intelligence is out the window, tits to the wind....(birds, freedom, you get it). In a sense though, this poem was a turning point for me. Loving your poems, they are smashing.

You write with the wisdom of a scholar but keep the soul and creativity of an artist. You are truly gifted and blessed with the mind to match your soul while giving us all of your wonderful words. This is a favorite for me.

James, back at you, my words pale quite significantly to those of other stories written here. I am a mere noviate and my words are my hair suit (sic) hirsute. Poems could be the Rosary Beads. Stories can be borne from pain and sorrow or great love and beauty. It is a two-edged sword. Creating is like pulling the Sword from the Stone. Have a lovely night/day.

It's probably "UNETHICAL" here in these hallowed waters - but I am AWARDING MYSELF "POEM OF THE DAY". Love, you know who - LEANNE LOVEJOY-BURTON Xx For my daughter, Georgia, my sisters K & M and for, well to hell with it - myself and any other sister or brother who needs it. This is for my sister, K. With ALL my love and ALL my strength. "Blood is thicker than water". The Spirit, the Water and the Blood - research.

“You live like this, sheltered, in a delicate world, and you believe you are living. Then you read a book… or you take a trip… and you discover that you are not living, that you are hibernating. The symptoms of hibernating are easily detectable: first, restlessness. The second symptom (when hibernating becomes dangerous and might degenerate into death): absence of pleasure. That is all. It appears like an innocuous illness. Monotony, boredom, death. Millions live like this (or die like this) without knowing it. They work in offices. They drive a car. They picnic with their families. They raise children. And then some shock treatment takes place, a person, a book, a song, and it awakens them and saves them from death. Some never awaken.” Anaïs Nin

“Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings.” ? Anaïs Nin

Anais Nin's roses... Excellent line.. I love her quotes, especially the one about choosing a man that compels her strength... I hope love can be a revolution for everyone and we can all join this brave new world... let love be your religion..

Well timed Silent One. This poem speaks many things to me. I have had some inspiration of late from a few intelligent sources, all words. I follow no religion. LOVE is my REVOLUTION. LOVE is the LIGHT, and my motto, LUX VITAE. Thank you for your words. A beautiful compliment.
