~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
brave words
falling from my pen
fill the emptiness
a page of white nothingness
working on fantasies,
erasing all the wars with thanks
giving hope to the spirit
who sees beyond the dreams
to the touch
a ghostlike memory
revealing the promises
lost, exploding in the thoughts
brought to life
in rich reds, flaming ginger
mysteries of a soul
who breathes
light from her prayers
silently exposing
naked hearts, so rare
her stars
in her eyes
the beating down
sun, vibrating
across the ruins of a tale
where hope met faith
and lived,
excelled – a song
playing in her head
freedom from the darkness
where rain stills
and blessings hide
beneath the broken
hearts who once knew
the meaning
the beauty
how did they last
surviving
the night’s dread
darkness, fear, tears
poured out for the moon
stars winking
is this truth?
her memories
blowing away the tune
rhythmic sounds
laughter
then tears pouring out
souls once felt
the music in their spirit
now they nearly
bleed
with the deafening
speaking
washing over the soul
a soundless note
roaring, blazing
embracing the senses
prayers, praise
where is His light?
fog rushes
to meet my darkness
praying it will fade
beneath the sun’s gaze,
then, in her eyes
there is indigo skies
burning away the past
pain never lasts
it comes in waves
grieving
tasting the gentle
a soul who knows
the light will fade
but the past
never waits
it stays, stays, stays
washing away
the music, the beautiful
with a touch
hue of pure pleasure
risking the dance
a second chance
brain washed by fate
still the night fades
into day
and I say –
life goes too fast,
I hurry up and wait
but the stars
they still praise
and so will I…
this is my fate,
I’ll always say
God is alive – love
it will survive
and my heart, my soul
know when to show
the world
the glow of a life
who is defined
by Christ –
so He saves me
from the sin, the shame
the mindless fears,
all the moments in prayer
washing away
what is past, overcast
skies reveal
the way to heal
found in His light,
the Son’s shining so bright!
