Bound By Love, Found In Time

BOUND BY LOVE,
                                                  FOUND IN TIME
In the Room she stayed behind
Reviewing the Lessons revealed by Time
But he had already gone ahead
Full of life and the Silver Thread
For her to follow; his hopes and dreams…
He’d search for her by any means.
			They were bound by love,
			Not yet found in time.

He discovered clues of her existence
But his beliefs were met with resistance.
For what in sleeping dreams are found?
From lifetimes past are lovers bound?
Who can see reason in the Grand Design?
Still he searched for her and one sure sign.
			He was bound by love
			To be found in time.

So he lived as if he’d never find her
But the dreams persisted, a constant reminder.
Until the day when lightning struck
And his Angel appeared with the Two of Cups.
Their eyes met sparking the Law of Attraction
And the contract from long ago put into action.
			They were bound by love,
			Finally found in time.

                        A void, he realized, in the life he’d made;
Love never dies but it can surely fade.
In this new soul he found his treasure,
Heart for heart, measure for measure.
Star-crossed lovers who were destined to meet
With separate lives yet a matching heartbeat.
                        Bound by love,
                        Found in time.

Phil this is breathtaking. A fantasy deep in the souls of most. Just stunning...

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment, I truly appreciate all thoughts on my work. Here's a little known fact about this poem...it doesn't come from fantasy but real life. My life. Namaste my friend.

I was curious about your poetry, Phil, and chose this one and I wanted you to know I really like this one. Really imaginative.

Thank you Carol for the kind remarks but truthfully, imagination has little to do with this piece... it comes from real life. I also have a poem called "Silence" and your first line hit home. Talk about deja vu.

A"Brilliant" write "Phil" - it makes the lonely extistence of this life so much more worth while - to know just somewhere in time - no matter what that time - to each other you know each other exists - even if only to be found in another time - even another life - is the real moral backing to the saying - "True Love Waits" . . . : )

I've read this twice...so far and will read it again because I'm favoring it. It's truly beautiful, Phil.

Thank you for your kind words, Lin, the beauty in my words lies in their truth for I have lived this dream of life.
