Boulevard of Dreams

How exhilarating to drive down this street
Lost in my dreams and moving in perfect sync.
Stimulated by the generation fleet with
Eyes wide open, blocking any blinks.

Dizzy from the lights strewn throughout this very road,
I am taking in the knowledge to be stowed.

There are visions you catch once, not two or three
We are all swimming together in this unknown sea.
Is it synchronicity that leads guides us our path?
Attuned to connections like soaking in a bath.

Nomads roam across this big land.
Allowing fate to lend a hand.
Cross word puzzles we put together.
Writing poetry to storm bad weather.

Searching for a poem in the dark.
On days when we don't know where to embark.
Lost inside, but found as well.
Listen to your heart.
What does it tell?

Congratulations on your win in the contest. This entry reminds me a bit of a Billy Joel song.

We have to take it all in, Kristen, because we never know whether we will see each unique "vision" again. Indeed, we're all swimming together. Congratulations on your win in Dr. Ram's contest! Love, Carolyn
