Bones Ache Yet Heart Sings

I am running the last mile in my life,
The age and tired feet have made my run to a limping walk,
still, I walk and walk to the beacon of hope,
Never let the pessimism take over the last straw of my hope,
My bones ache yet heart sings.

Sometime I fall, to get up and keep going again,
Sometimes tired I stand to watch the cycle of life revolve around
my eyes,
Sometimes I feel loved, sometimes I feel ignored,
Sometime I feel the time has passed by me, still I see my soul's
destination in front of me,
My bones ache yet heart sings.

In the journey of life my soul is searching for love and peace,
The feeling of love where I will lose the existence of mine,
The sense of peace and tranquility where I would not hear my
melancholy songs again,
I will walk miles looking for until I fall and can't get up again,
My bones ache yet heart sings.

I meet so many souls on my way with troubled mind,
confused about the goals and destinations of their life,
Some say I am old, I don't want to live,
They will have to walk with me enjoying the virtues and glory of
their life,
My bones ache yet heart sings.

Aging is natural and it entails aches and pains. Still if we can see the little joys of life, we will still have chances to enjoy. Falling is not contemptible but staying fallen is not encouraging ! Get up and move forward is what we should do. Very inspirational poem
