Bone beach
As the rain pitter patters on the rough terrain
The debris is washed upon the shore
The seaweed’s olive pods afloat
Driftwood intertwined with hardcore
They look like sticks upon the beach
Speckled through the golden sands
Scattered here in disarray
Displayed like praying hands
The ivory sticks can be seen beyond reach
As they emerge from beneath the sea
The sheer mass of bone; an exquisite display
When venturing down to bone beach
