well DD, we start out doing to ourselves and wind up doing it again in old age.... OK, I'll slap myself now.....great Haiku/senryu had me smiling, laughing, and pondering all in the same pair of pants...

Who knew the layers I was building in were a double entendre (waterproofing and absorbency). This is why I don't trust haiku lol

Nice Ku Dilly, at a very basic level that’s what us life forms are, raindrops and chemistry til we evaporate, and do it all over again, so the physicist’s would say, but not in three powerful lines like this, love it, cheers David

I was mulling over far too much David then decided to attempt a nature haiku. Transience can be a head spinner when applied to intensity - I did feel a bit E=mc2 momentarily :)
