Bonding
From fields afar with distant dreams
and futures still unknown,
two beating hearts with maybe schemes
are feeling quite alone,
but through the journey of one day
their eyes met with a glance,
and so together down one way
they played the game of chance.
Their meeting may have slipped them by
to maybe never meet,
and so their lives would quickly fly
but never be complete,
then wander down some different track
upon a dreaded curse,
where loneliness could see them crack,
or maybe even worse.
But now with time the closeness draws
to intertwine their souls
by opening up two different doors
that only love controls,
and life becomes two into one
without a magic wand
to melt together what is done
which has produced the bond.
