hope you find a good part
for your expression of deadpan
in heaven since you kicked the can

perhaps I meant the bucket, ye old fart
made new
in your stellar light debut

Your a little elf in the queue, start
your cloud nine life
without Big Bang strife

you know how Sheldon would outsmart
Professor Proton bring him back
from beyond for advice, not his knack

lastly woke up in the sack, back at the start
with his first wife, of all the dreams
now the actors dead, for real, it seems

Thank you Kim for this wonderful remembrance of Bob Newhart - one of the funniest comedians to grace a stage or our TV sets. I loved his show with all of the wonderful characters including Larry, Daryl and Daryl! Well written. Engaging as Newhart himself. He, Jack Benny and Johnny Carson refined "the look" to a comic art. We have lost a bit of laughter! RIP Bob. Hope you are enjoying the heavenly telephone service. Blessings!

He had an interesting way to comedy. It has been a very long time since I have seen him in any TV or movie. In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw him. He had a good lifespan. Not many live to be that old. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about him. Sara K

He had appearances in “The Big Bang Theory,” and was in the Christmas movie, “Elf.”
