Blue Sky Eye and the Hope Angels

“Blue Sky Eye and The Hope Angels”

It came to be
that many forgot
the messages imparted

prior to arrival
instructions were encoded
inside all our vessels

we were berthed
locked and loaded
waiting for ignition

but we were all falling
fast asleep, being sucked in
by the Hornet Helix dreams

we forgot
the very important
original true mission

so all went south
when the terror firmers came
they novocained our objective

dumbed us down
not an open eye
was to be found

just as there are heavy blankets
of dark nights that seem to
smother us in sleep,

there still resides a message
like morse code inside
which remains fixed, it is still on, it

repeats
repeats
repeats

it’s a tracking beacon
sending a message
the monsters can’t hear

alerting a force
on the way,
far yet closer than near

something fiercer than
the hive, it’s louder
than one mind

the light
pulsing message
comes from inside

vibrating its
unique sequences
regimental, you might say

a war march tune
dismissing, eviscerating
Hornet Helix high noon

a new re-generation
has come to town
to peel back blind curtains

evolves viral
it waves,
echolocation

it comes in
by stealth,
it comes in by sound

something much stronger
is growing mysteriously inside
materialising somewhere

in the vicinity of Third Eye
the Hope Angels
are completing the mission

they travel inner worlds
dissolving walls at light speed
within strange new bodies, our vessels

unexplored universes
within the unknown interior
inside us we are their new world

interdimensional
where salt water oceans
surround corporeal muscle

the souls swim
inside blood and vein rivers
to hold hearts up to their windows

pulsing signals
to light the way
for the Hope Angels

to enter, to save the day
undo and reveal
the great puzzle commanding

the blue sky eye
ever watching I am
has set all rapturous escape pods

on its landing pad
for light warriors
to travel to the new world

of the ever watching
Blue Sky Eye
I Am

(LadyLabyrinth / 2022)

“If the inner world splinters into pieces
and we feel abandoned
in the remains of a worn-out story,
let us look up, discern new paths, and listen
to the stirring, tingling sounds
in the dense thicket
of untrodden settings
that we go across
during our journey.
("Halt in flight")”
Erik Pevernagie

“When love stealthily
settles down in our inner world
as we dwell through fields
of expectations with eyes wide open,
unfurling sceneries of wonderment
slowly unroll on our path
and overwhelm our mindset.
("I seek you")”
Erik Pevernagie

Yes~ Whatever happened to Linda Moulton Howe? ~ I am a big fan of the "George Noory Show" where she frequently guest starred and I felt safe and warm knowing she was out investigating for us! Thank you for your beautiful poem.

Seeing the exceptional length of the poem, initially I was dissuaded from going through it. But on reading it I got so trapped by the wonderful imagery and the curiosity in me grew intense to know what message was coming from the Hope angels. Yes, when love settles inside, newer vistas will open up and new beams of light will gleam in ! Congrats on this highly deserved honor, dear friend!

I cannot even call myself a poet Only in my college class I got introduced to poetry. In our curriculum there was hardly any poetry and I started writing poems quite late. I am familiar with some of the poems you mentioned.... ! Rhyme of The Ancient Mariner, Kubla Khan, The Lady of Shallot.... All these are my favorites too... Thanks for your time and patience. I shall read Romancing the Poet !

Thank you so much for your very elaborate response to my comment ! I am not indisposed to lengthy poems. In fact I too am used to narrative poems. But after my entry into poetry sites, I realize that people prefer shorter poems. Only very recently I have started writing haiku and tanka. However the depth of your poems is awesome.

Thank you Valsa. I am afraid I am not very good at writing short poems. “Guilty” as accused your honour. Although, a few poems in my portfolio are considered short. I am more narrative and short story/novella writing. I list a lot of my poems as ‘Free Verse’, because I guess I just run with the flow of my thoughts and what I am delivering in the story. I don’t follow any hard or fast rules with writing poetry – and more’s the pity I’m sure a few stalwarts say rolling their eyes. There are some very talented poets who do write ‘short’ fix poetry in the many methods governed by rules. I’ve never been very good at following literary rules, particularly for poetry. Following rules requires discipline and patience, which I sorely lack.

I did have a try once or twice at …. a Pantoum or two, and a sonnet or two …. even then they weren’t short. I may have won a potd for a pantoum once. I’ve written a Haiku or two. You may like this one. "Romancing the Poet", https://www.poetrysoup.com/poem/romancing_the_poet_1199027

I am afraid, it is due to my upbringing, with a father who introduced me to poetry via Samuel Taylor Coleridge, the first poem I remember at age 9yrs was my father reading to myself and my two younger sisters, The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner, and then Kubla Kahn. From then on, I was hooked on some great writers, thinkers, poets. Have you ever read Lord Byron’s “Manfred” an excellent tome of a poem, and then what about “The Goblin’s Market” by Christina Rosetti, or “The Lady of Shalott” by Alfred Lord Tennyson - and I do love a John Donne or two, have you read “ An Anatomy of the World” amongst all his others.

I could keep listing many wonderful and talented historical laureates...and don’t get me started on the modern poets who have written longer poems...I like to unravel a story and I like to be drawn in out of the present into the story. Short poems like Haiku, Monoku are all well and good, quite pretty, some even beautiful in their delicate delivery or the poets that can bludgeon in a single swipe their victim, the reader… (personally I like to torture my victims with a slow death, maybe a laugh or two).

Not all ‘good’ poetry is short...and I’ve never been good at short writes, short reads or short fixes. Usually not real good at short responses, unless I am inspired to a short response. Although, I’m short on a lot of things, like common sense. Some will say patience, but that’s not true….by a long shot....for I am still writing and posting here after 5 years Thank you for your kind comment and I am delighted you enjoyed and stuck with my delivering of this story, an attempt at blending syfy with spirituality...a strange story and a strange world, it is indeed. It may be that responses to comments are never read, due to their length and the time it takes to invest in the reading. But some other reader who chances to venture into my responses and comment boxes, will be well entertained ... or incited to enter positive discourse. But let us hope, never negative disruptive demoralising discourse, because none of us have time for the negative in our lives...anymore.

Thanks for sharing, LL, warmest congrats on POTD! My two cents - Dreams within dreams continue to stream as free will gradually chooses to distil attention in the void of no-thingness, shifting fulcrum of consciousness from head to heart, in resonance with love, in a timeless continuum. We ask, the universe responds.

I'll take your two cents and raise you double. Your responses are exceptionally kind and usually full of wisdom. I had the pleasure of corresponding with another poet here, who had the same way with wisdom delivered in his responses (which I certainly do lack); his nom de plume was Winged Warrior, I used to call him Light Angel. Apart from being an exceptional poet, he had an open mind and alternative approach to spirituality and the world, his way of thinking. Some of his responses gave me pause to look deeper into what he was saying, I usually discovered buried treasures in his responses that served me well. He resides in another dimension now. Your response taken in just the same way, as I did his. Thank you. Leanne

A bit of a surprise Connie, the ones I win, always are a surprise. A lovely and generous gift. The whole concept of science and spirituality combined is an eye opener for me. The further I go down the rabbit hole seeking the number 1, more is revealed to me. Many will disagree of course, but the mystery keeps dragging me in further. Some say poets are fuelled by inner tormoil, madness and seeking the truth, some answers they can hold onto, believe and trust, this usually through the creative process. I probably fit all of those. But don't hold that against me. On with the search. Perhaps the whole search for 1 is not the absolute 1, but the 1 within, Self. I think too much, that's my problem. Some might say. We are all on our own journeys, searching for 1 in some way or another, the truth of our existence and purpose. Thank you. Leanne

It's always a surprise to me when I win POTD. A lovely surprise. The imagery is a daily struggle, it continually drops off the page, whether a glitch in the PS system, or via my personal source where I keep my artwork. Paula Goldsmith commented on my use of Blue Sky Eye in my poem, "How to Become 1", I refer a lot to Blue Sky in my poems and it seems to be right there in front of me through my windows (literally) with its clouds...I thought I'd try my hand at SyFy and combine science with the spiritual and as with the poem preceding this one, events unravelling in our world at present. With this poem I was trying to encapsulate in the story the idea of Light (Hope/Light/the "I Am" within/God) coming in to save the day and with the poem preceding this one, I was delivering the story of Dark (the opposite of hope, "anti" if you will) arriving to drug and dumb us down into the docile complacency of the hive mind (which seems the popular take 1 World everything, to solve our problems...

...and who could blame any of us in our current state of the world in looking for a quick and easy fix, using the concept of 1 World united - which is the answer, but I see a lot of freedoms taken with that concept. It is a complex situation, which inevitably will be taken out one way or the other, through science, or supernaturally in a 'flash'. Quite alarming to see Russia on the rim of invading the Ukraine, and America rallying troops, as will its allies, let us hope it doesn't bloom into a full WWW3 scenario to end all wars...one considers the Book of Rev and seers like Nostradamus. Perhaps inside us, we house the Hope Angels. Strange times my friend. Thank you. Leanne Xx

hmmm, time will tell about the stings left in us...are they working within us, or not? Conspiracies abound. One has to go with their gut instinct on the stings and as always, we have been given the freedom to choose our course on many levels. Thank you Anaya. Leanne :)

This was the poem I was speaking of Paula when you queried me about Blue Sky Eye, when you were writing your poem, which in itself (your poem) is a very beautiful and exceptional heart-felt/empathetic take on it all, "God's Eyes" ... if only we could attain the Christ Consciousness 'within', without continually riding our personal rollercoasters...where sometimes, for some, who are all too human, find the faith, trust and hope dropping to the lowest depths, some of us rise again and others find it all to hard and let go. Like the Ocean, those three things for me, come in and out like the tides.

I fear sometimes being dragged in submerged with the undertow, is how one finds what is beneath the surface. Perhaps that is where the truth of it all is found, and to allow that to happen and go with the flow of it all, takes immense courage and faith for some. The rising back again, is like a small resurrection, some Light to swallow and lift above it all. Some say that flotsam and jetsam and other tawdry egesta rise to the surface...if you swim through the tawdry egesta, towards some of that flotsam and jetsam, in that place of all places...there - I assure you, I have discovered treasure will be found. Thank you my friend, for your take on it all. Leanne Xx

Thank you Monsieur Gentile. I am not religious by any long stretch of the imagination, as I do not follow religion, but the idea of science combined with the belief in the supernatural and spirituality (for what is God to Christian's, Gentiles/Jews/Islam and all the other cultures and colours of our world, but supernatural...and the concept of interdimensional 'ghosts', and 'souls' fits that criteria as well). I'm on a mission....possibly a Light mission, to find what lies within the rabbit hole, the Inner and Outer songs, as the Australian First Nations people would say.

Some might debate the Australian aboriginal and indigenous people are the most ancient inhabitants of our world, with their art and hand messages painted on cave walls, their story telling, through voice, dance, song and art ... next to the native African, going further back than the Egyptians. The ancient messages in cave paintings - including those in other areas around the world, Spain, France, some of the earliest as well, fascinate me. Story telling is an ancient rite. We are a strange mob. We humans. Thank you. Leanne

Once we lose faith in hope, we might as well bend over, stick our heads between our legs, and kiss our ... goodbye. 'tween the darkest moments of our lives, we MUST keep the faith alive. If not, there is no hope. Love this, Lee-Ann. Congratulations on POTD. Amazing poetry as it is a norm, for you. Hugs Charlie

One must never never ever lose faith in hope Messina. Sometimes that is a real battle, I can tell you that from personal experience, but it is the Hope that always pulls me through. Your most eloquent comment about "we might as well bend over, stick our heads between our legs and kiss our ... goodbye", I have the most perfect piece of art to respond to that with a poem at some stage down the track. It may not be the next poem, but I guarantee you it will arrive. Stay tuned. All the best for your 2022 unravelling in a positive and uplifting way. Keep the faith ... in all that is good and Light. Hope is one of the shining warrior angels within. Leanne Xx

We send coded messages to ourselves my friend. That little voice that oft interrupts and says watch out, beware, or stay the course, listen now, walk away, do not obey, etc, etc, etc. Problem is we being such will-full creatures by Nature worldly influences we most oft dismiss such as random, unintelligent thoughts to be ignored. And sometimes later see that voice was seeing farther than we. Your poetry always fascinates me! A fav.. God bless.
