Blue

Blue of the Blue-Footed Booby bird.
      Blue is really a lovely poetic word.

Blue is a fathomless endless sky.
      Blue are the many birds that fly and fly.

Blue ocean and sea waves that crash.
     Blueberries picked wild and eaten in a flash.

Blue blooms of summer and spring.
     Blue of the amazing, majestic Kingfisher wing.

Blue semi-precious gem stones.
      Blue's silky smooth playing on my headphones. 

Blue dreams of my lover's infinite eyes,
     Blue turquoise of a fluttering swarm of butterflies.
