The color of skies Enchanting the mind As it whispers azure promises Taking flight with wings So feathery swift Like a gentle flame Creating the fire that burns Within one who sees Only good within the spirit Who listens to God The color of laughter Soothing and soft Breathing music that echoes On the hope of the heart Who listens to the rhythm Of senses so calm and sweet They leave dewdrop dreams Swimming in tears of peace Where joy has been seen Drifting downstream The color of silence Caressing naked thoughts With whimsical, passive calm That welcomes brilliant desires To reach beyond the want To the soul of the thought Where only inspiration can thrive Surviving the dreary tides Of times that bring dread Fear and disillusionment A sense of despair that wrecks The heart who is filled with Wishes for tomorrow’s thrill The color of truth Abiding in the kindness That reminds us to live With prayers sent to heaven On wings of psalms that smile Upon the angel’s song Caressing the soft charms Of One who knows our hearts Loves us through the sorrow And guides us into tomorrow Where we will discover the way To worship and pray With a faith that was raised With Jesus this Easter The color of grace Powerful and praising Making a way for the spirit To feel assured of it’s ability To answer in assurance That God has given a gift Abiding within the one Who listens to the sound Of His unconditional love As it makes a way for us To be saved to the uttermost Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Your thoughts caress the page with elegance and grace. *Blue* is one of my favorite colors. It is very soothing and tender. I suppose that is why I enjoy moments in the sky. To drift in its harmony. This is so beautiful and uplifting. :) Brandy
