Blow Back the Clouds

Frigid encounter, a soulless storm in winter dead leaving me white teethed frozen from the magnetic doubts raised into pin pricks ricocheting wildly off the thoughts in my head You were one who fastened my heart to your own beating breath, with no sacrifice You were the one who compelled me to stay when my emotions were spread through the stiff continent breaking commitments and reaching for sun which stayed always elusive and hidden from me. When did you ignite and burn without me? When did the run off from every issue pool toward the abnormal powers that be? The land is still lost, the frozen ground thick with this heart of yours blue with discouraging thoughts I twist into needles and knots, with the lack of knowing you now I wonder and wish that you'll turn toward the sun and help me to blow back the clouds.
