I like what you have done here, Charles. Droughts do hamper the reproduction of mosquitoes, but they also are detrimental to us humans. ~ Best regards // paul

Indeed, the West Nile is no joke. Your comments brightened my morning, Lasaad. Thank you for that and for the return visit my friend. Have a blessed weekend...Charlie

There is one thing to do with mosquitoes. Kill them.

Wow, Charlie, now I know why they want us to dump or empty those watery containers so mosquitoes would not hatch and prevent West Nile cases. I think this one is a Basho style... just my interpretation of Basho's haiku subject matter; but I'm a newbie in poetry.... lol ... so don't take my word ... only my common sense...

Boy, Sam. You sure know how to make a fella feel good :) Thanks so much for the inspiring words. Basho must have a various style OR I just had a hard time putting my finger on how his mind worked. If only he were here to guide me... Blessings and love...Charlie

I studied Basho for a few hours and originally wrote one that I thought would fit. I resorted to the sponsors blog to get a better idea. I hope this fits the bill (lol). thanks for stopping by. Hugs
